About the Event

The GNA Special Event 2025 is a landmark gathering of distinguished leaders, professionals, youth advocates, and changemakers from across the Great Nigerian Assembly (GNA) network. Set to take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Midwest Conference Center, 401 W Lake St, Northlake, IL 60164, this signature event will begin promptly at 2:00 PM.

With the theme “Honoring Leadership. Empowering the Future. Connecting People to Governance,” the GNA Special Event is a celebration of service, a launchpad for new initiatives, and a bold step forward in connecting citizens with meaningful governance. With a special rendition of the Nigeria anthem and songs by the Music & Entertainment Consortium (MEC) professional group of the Great Nigerian Assembly

Launching of the GNA Youth Forum

The GNA Youth Forum is a bold and visionary initiative aimed at empowering Nigerian youth globally through structured mentorship, leadership development, civic education, and access to opportunities.

This launch marks the beginning of a coordinated youth movement within GNA, where young Nigerians will take on critical roles in national development, policy advocacy, innovation, and social impact initiatives. The forum will serve as a dynamic platform for dialogue, capacity building, and collaboration among youth leaders, professionals, and changemakers committed to shaping Nigeria’s future.

Launching of the Good Governance Apps

The Initiatives for Good Governance (IGG) and IT for National Development (ITD) professional groups of the Great Nigerian Assembly (GNA) have collaboratively developed a mobile and web-based application designed to strengthen government-citizen engagement.

This innovative app serves as a bridge-builder, fostering mutual understanding, enhancing relationships, and promoting inclusive development, especially at the grassroots level.

Musical Presentation by the Music & Entertainment Consortium (MEC)

The GNA Music & Entertainment Consortium (MEC) will elevate the atmosphere with a captivating and culturally rich musical presentation reflecting Nigeria’s heart and soul. Their performance is more than entertainment — it is an artistic expression of unity, hope, resilience, and national pride.
